What is Wrap Around Childcare?
Our wraparound childcare provides a safe, supportive and fun environment for children before and after the school day.
Led by our experienced, qualified childcare team, sessions are designed to help children relax, play and recharge outside of the classroom. Whether it’s creative activities, games with friends, or simply a calm space to unwind, we create a setting where every child feels comfortable and cared for.
All staff are fully DBS checked, and we prioritise both safety and strong, positive relationships with the children in our care.
Which schools do we provide Wrap Around Childcare for?
At our Moorside Road setting we currently offer Wrap Around provision for:
- St Charles Primary School
- The Deans Primary School
- Moorside Primary School
We also are the Before and After School club providers on site at:
- Broadoak Primary School
- St. Augustines Primary School
- North Walkden Primary School

What time are you open?
Mornings
You are able to drop children off to our settings from 7am
After School
Standard collection time is 5.30pm, however this can be extended to 6pm for a small additional fee
Inclusion
At Playkidds, every child is welcome.
We understand that all children are different, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where individual needs are recognised, respected and supported.
Zones of Regulation
To provide consistency, we follow similar approaches used in school, including elements of the Zones of Regulation. This means children hear familiar language and can use the same strategies across both settings.
